SEASON IV · CHAPTER 23
ARCHIVED TRANSCRIPT
Don't stop now
Streetlights tearing
Across my eyes
Every red signal
Blurring into white
The city underneath me
Starts shaking loose
Like every locked direction
Finally cut in two
Every wall I carried
Starts falling behind
Every frozen version
Left somewhere in time
I'm breaking the grid tonight
Running through the fractured light
No more wires holding me still
No more silence bending my will
And every road beneath my feet
Sounds louder every time it hits
Like the world I used to fear
Can't contain me anymore
Neon sparks around me
Burning through the rain
Every empty memory
Dissolving in the speed
I used to move in circles
Inside my own head
Now every step keeps pulling me
Further from the dead air
No more static
In my bloodstream
No more shadows
Pulling at me
Tearing through the closing sky
Every signal fading out
Every silence burning down
And all the rooms I hid inside
Disappear beneath the lights
Like the ghost I used to be
Can't survive this motion now
I spent so long
Trying not to disappear
Now every heartbeat
Pulls me past the fear
Through the ash and the satellite light
No more fear inside my chest
No more static in my head
And every shadow chasing me
Falls apart in the speed
I'm still running
But this time
I'm finally free
Keep moving
